question about close combat badge?

I got offered this one from the son of the vet. I do not know anything about badges, so any help would be appreciated. And he ask me to make him an offer, I do not collect badges so I will probably sell it after I buy it. So what would be fair offer for this badge?

He also told me that his dad had a dagger too,but his mom did not like "Nazi" stuff so she throw it away.I collect blades so that got me very angry. But what you can do at least I can save one of the things.
