need help on CCC in silver F&BL

    Hi Guys,

Just found this CCC on the 321 auction, which is look like textbook in Thomas book 1.8.1 but still is not 100% with this, specially block hinge and the pin and probably refinished?
Is the nice horizontal die flaw between it and the backplate, characteristic for all original F&BL Clasps.
Can I have your comments on this if is good or not???
I'v asked for more pic's from the seller so I'll see....

Thank you's very much well appreciated

      Hi Peter,

I think the clasp is a good one, but like you say the pin is incorrect for an F&BL. I think it is a replacement that has been colored silver to try and match the rest of the badge. I like the look of the finish on this one, just think the pin is a replacement.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Pin looks like a replacement to me too.
        Kind regards,
