    Bronze CCC

This was dug from an area near the Gumrak airport.

Does this look authentic, notwithstanding the fact it was in groungd for 68 years?

          Hi,

Clasp is a good one, an F&BL if I am not mistaken.

I wouldn't trust the story though about being in Stalingrad, the battle was over likely before the CCC was even produced. The CCC was instituted in November 25th, 1942 and likely took several months to produce, the earliest award document I have found is Feb 1st, 1943. As you know, that was the last day of the battle, so I doubt any CCCs were flown into the "kessel" when other supplies were much more needed!

I couldn't disagree with you. History speaks for itself.
            I paid 100 bucks US for it...if it's an overpayment, I don't know....

                This is so irritating

This is why I do not like the use of photo hosting sites.
