Try some nail polish remover or acetone with a Q-tip on the reverse.

          Best Regards, fischer

I would say original with original setup.

            Regards,

Set up looks original to the badge but the hinge is not a type i am familar with.
This one seems to be in between the short and the long barreled ones that sometimes are found on this type of FZS badge.

The catch type on this one is normally found with the so called wrapp around hinge.

As for the finish i can´t make up my mind.
                Regards

Don´t throw away your fake WB´s! Get in touch with me.
I collect them for reference purposes for the benefit of the hobby (for the right "fake" price of course).

A few close-ups of the eagle and other 'wear' spots might help us determine if this is repainted. From the pic provided, it looks like the eagle's chest feather tips are worn, but might have the same finish as the rest....lead me to believe a re-paint. Close-up pics will answer this for me.

                    Hi

I like the finish. I have one just like this and I have no question on it. I like that IAB and for it appears to be time period!
