    Hi Merdock,

At first glance this looks like a "deformed leaf" (deumer) IAB, but on closer examination the one you posted has different features than what I expect on an original. Some of the differences I see are:

    Chest feathers
    Talons
    Leaf Stems (appear too fat)
    Rifle/Sling details
    Poorly defined acorns
    Hinge does not look correct

I do not see an example of this in the fakes gallery, but I think this is a copy. Can you post pictures of the hinge and catch?

    Regards,
    Eric

      Hi Merdock,

I think Eric summed it up perfectly for me too, doesn't look original to me. The shoddy reverse hardware is a major red flag and its trying to be a deformed leaf/Deumer IAB but doesn't quite get it right.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

        Hello Merdock

I agree with Eric's assessment as well. It does look like a Deformed Leaf but the details are not correct.

As stated, the breast feathers are not correct, Vein patterns in the leaves or lack of them and the talons are not right. The Adlers head and the hardware set up are all alarms for me.

        Best Regards, fischer
