Looks good to me but a closeup of the pin hinge would help.

Now that is an odd one- from the front looks lik an RK but with that semi hollow reverse and hinge?? Finish on the front looks believable but the loss to detail is worse than it should be on acorns and bayonet handle. Doesn't match any I've seen real or fake but I am leaning towards

thanks for the info Patrick. Do you have any friends that might be able to take a look at it as well?

Sammy I'm sure my esteemed colleagues will weigh in very soon. Semi hollow RK GABS do exist but have more detail in the reverse strike than this one so I'm pretty sure this is a copy.

ok, thanks again for your advice. I'm trying to weed out any fakes in my collection since I have been away from the hobby for almost 20 years.

I may be totally off base and I am by far an expert, but those oak leaves and the unfinished reverse remind a lot of the Baqueville KM badges. (I did note that the hardware is totally different tho).
Just thought I'd through it out there

                    Is the badge zinc?

I'm not knowledeable at all on these so I really can't comment. As for it's composition, again, I'm not sure if it is zinc or another metal.
