Latest FLL ccc

Hi,
Heres my latest find a ccc vet bringback picked up in early 1945 taken from a prisoner he must have been really attached to it to carry on wearing a damaged badge,

, is it correct that the fluted pin FLL are a uncommon variant.

notice the small bend to the pin as well.

Hi Merdock,

Nice original badge, and you are correct that this is an uncommon variant with fluted pin. The bend in the pin is very characteristic of Linden clasps and was done at the factory since 95% of clasps have this feature. Yours is a nice, late war example with some really great finish left.

Hi Thomas,
Glad you like it ,i thought that the bend to the pin near the hinge was the result of battle damage ? so it's a characteristic of late FLL badges.
Now that i have managed to take resonable photos of ccc i'll post the rest of mine on this thread,in the past my photos have been rather bad.
