Help on Some IAB's

Well I have a few IAB's that I would like to show for some opinions.

1. WH - looks fine to me and it seems to have a nice coating over it.
2. FLL - I dont see anything wrong with it
3. Wiedmann - The badge itself looks fine but all the hardware looks replaced...
4. Hollow IAB which I have never seen before...opinions needed on this one.
5. Pillow Crimp - the hinge doesnt seem to be set in the crimp at all.

Hey Chris,

Some nice looking IABs. I agree with your assessment on most of them:

1. Good Hobacher in nice condition
2. FLL is also nice, perfectly textbook
3. Wiedmann looks good, but I agree on the replaced hardware
4. The hollowback is an F&CL I believe.
5. Pillow crimp also looks good, too bad about the catch though. Looks like the hinge crimped didn't work well, so they just went ahead and soldered the hinge on top of it. I don't have my files in front of me, but the looks OK for this maker, so I think it was factory done. The tiger-stripe affect of the finish is very typical of this maker, whoever he was.
