    Thoughts on Junckers PAB

Bronze PAB seems to have junckers type pin & catch set up. Good or Bad?

Im trying not to get to much out of my depth because in the scale of knowledge about these thing i not got alot. S&L is the name given to what was once thought of as junckers pieces. Am i correct?

              Hello,

Original. These have been unknown maker, Zimmerman brother, S&L, and Junckers before!

                  Hi guys,

These are a little confusing, but as it stands right now, the PAB that started this thread is an UNKNOWN MAKER. They may have been made by Zimmermann, but we don't really know right now. Definately not made by Juncker or S&L because we have already identified the solid-backed, later-war examples of both of these makers and it is NOT the one that started this thread.

Here is an S&L to compare. Similar obverse design, but definately different.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

AS far as I know the badge that started this thread has never been called a Zimmerman or S&L, but has been called a Junker because of the set up.

                        I agree with Dans comments.

The common view is that the badge is from an unknown maker.

                        cheers

Indeed a very nice original PAB by an unknown maker. If only I could find its silver counterpart!

I wouldn't cry too loud Juncker didn't made these. After all Deumer also switched to a completely different design making the pillow crimp in the end... There might be a reason why massive Juncker zinkers are that rare...
                            Kind regards,
                            Giel
