Gab 1.28 ??

guys could this be originall 1.28 GAB ? obviusly there is some repair signs like soldering on the eagles head, and propably refinishing...
if it is a fake - is it a known type of fake or something new. details are not bad at all IMHO

imo a nice original but the pictures are not the best. There are certain areas I´d like to see to give a definite answer, but these pics are not sharp/good enough. With todays copies I don´t know if I would dare to buy it.

Looks an original to me too by unknown maker possibly Alois Rettenmeir,I also would like to see a picture from the catch.

I think the "repair" around front by the eagle's head is just where solder from the hinge application flowed around.

It looks promising, but as already mentioned the pics are not the best. I would like to see pics with less flash, maybe scans. It is difficult to see how the finish "really" looks. I think the reverse has the typical graining for this maker, and it looks like this has had a catch repair.....
Is there a catch plate? Probably what János wants to see
