    Badge dies

We hear all the time about how RK dies ended up in private hands some time after the war, but what about the dies for war badges? Speculation is that Juncker dies were destroyed in a bombing raid, but what about the myriad of other badge manufacturers?

Other than Souval, what happened to all them?

Accidentally offending people on the internet since 1997

    badges dies

    Hello,

Yes excellent question, what happened to al thos badge dies for example of the " Eastern front medal " , etc ... and the other mass produced awards , there where for sure many producers involved but why does not much of these dies see the light ?

I know for sure that there are some dies left in a Berlin Museum ( i must find out however what museum ,e tc ... ) and it should be dies for the flower war medals => i wil check it out and post details. )

And now for your die experts , how did the germans do it, lets take the example of the " eastern front " medal, did the official state make one die and let the other producers copy this one, etc ... or how did it go exactly ? , we always here alot of die characteristics and this makes me think that each die was kind of unique but what is the exact knowledge behind this ?

    Greetings,
my collectionfield : German glider pilots
