        Hi Rob
The maker mark is nor "DH", this is "AH" Herman Aurich. The hardware is tipical.

Looks like the complex grass fake Aurich to me guys. Compare to my original badge. Is the reverse of your badge flat Rob?

Never seen one like that one in post one. Kool looking grass or is it hay?

                Hi Guys!
Now I see my HA, and see in the Philippe's book. Yes, the grass area suspicious.

I think this is Aurich "1.8.1 copy" IMO. But the expert collectors know best. If my opinion bad, sorry.

                    Hi Robin,

I can only agree with the others, a decent reproduction but that does not match original Aurichs. The weird, funky finish on these "complex grass pattern" fakes is also a red flag, here is another one I had in my files just like yours.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
