    have one of you seen a PAB from Frank & Reif with a finish like this one?

    I don't have one in my files but since this type of finish variant is known to exist on e.g AS & Aurich PAB's I can't think of a reason why F&R wouldn't have used this chrome like finish.

      I used to own a fake of this badge.... and This one looks way better than a F&R fake..
      but I am no expert about finish...

          A generally accepted finish on PABs, although I personally prefer the frosty variation. Your one must rate at nearly mint, pity about that touch of discolouration on the eagles chest. It looks like rust, and if you are so inclined, a small spot of oil might remove it.

            I think that is a coloured light reflection on the "chrome", Skip. That is at least how I see it.
