New Daisy , is it normal for the catch to open to the left. This is like the 3rd time I have seen this.

Dion,i sincerely believe that (at the time of manufacture). Such trivial things as which way the catch faced was down to whether that particular assembly worker was left or right handed. Most factory workers were working on "Piece work". I.e paid accordingly for their output it was that way in the U.K. So Germany was most likely the same. Stewy

Oh Iam in complete agreement with you on that one stewy, I do not advocate the old " Germans would never make something of such inferior quality" thing.

I just found it odd the most badges I see with the left opening catch are Daisy PABs...just a weird observation, I thought it might be something of that maker that is noteworthy.
