Found this at an antique store Friday. I am pretty sure it is a Junker but I read they had almost flat backs, this one has a dished back. Finish is really nice.

If we look designwise, this is most likely not Juncker, altough the chance that they changed their complete design is possible.

Huh the pin catch and the recesses for them look like Junker and so does the eagle. Compare this one from Mike Pinkus to mine. Am I missing something?Comment

So the info on German Tank Badges of WW2 by Mike Pinkus is incorrect? I thought that this site was very credible and had alot of good information on the different makers of tank badges. The badge I have is the same as the one he has pictured and described as a Junker badge.

His site was fine a few years ago but a lot of studying and new information have revealed new info. His flak site, for example, was good 5 years ago but has been overtaken by events. Same with his PAB site. Look at the DeBock books if you want to learn about the PAB. I find it interesting the internet which is somewhat "organic" is lagging!Comment

Mike wrote that stuff on his website probably 10 years ago, and several threads since then have reitered what was written back then. Like the guys said, new knowledge has surfaced in the last few years showing that Juncker was likely NOT the maker of this badge, even though the hardware is similar. S&L used similar hardware to this, as well as Fritz Zimmermmann, so don't just go by that.
Phil's PAB book is almost 1000 pages and totally devoted to the PAB subject, a must have if you are remotely interested in buying these badges IMO.

Ok did not know that it has been determined to be another maker. I am assuming a unknown one as of yet. I just buy these badges to display on uniforms and try and keep up on the fakes. Thanks for the info

Definitely thought to be an unknown maker, confused in the past due to the hardware. As others have pointed out, Juncker is thought to have another design...
Plenty of threads here on this subject, you do not always need to buy a book. Don't forget they have mistakes in too !
