      ... Please, no S/A remarks! Well, I'm surprised. I did a quick search through this forum before posting this badge for sale and thought it was ID'ed to a certain maker. Now I've looked again and cannot find any images, other than the recent ones. The badge was originally sold through Detlev Niemann, the seller of the badge eMailed me the original pix from Detlev's site.
      Interesting mystery. I get a real kick out of threads like this where everyone kicks in and real progress is made. It's great when so many different people from around the world can work together towards a common goal!

        Hi Rick,

        Nothing to be confused about. This specific design really is the LADA (were these ever imported in the US, if not please read YUGO instead of LADA) of PAB production.

        Besides the known makers that used it Wernstein, AWS, RS, Fo, EWE, RRS at least 4 unknown makers also used that design. Only adding to the confusion is the fact that it is also the most common and most copied/faked design. So it's only logical that these unmarked examples most of the time are wrongly attributed to one of the known makers.
