          Hi Robert,
I think that it is a really good badge.
          How much does it weigh?

                Hi

Thank you, I will weigh it later today... I pulled this out of a box of badges that I presume are FAKE, I paid $37.00 for this in 1983.

To me this looks like a "NON" zinker, is this correct?

                Thank you!

                  Gentlemen!
I thought that WH-made badge should have a small semi depression on the rifle butt? On this badge I can't see that. Is my information not correct and this is indeed original?

                      Hi Guys

As far as I'm concerned there is nothing wrong with the IAB posted by Robert.

Take a look at this thread where some fake WH's are featured.

                      http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ht=fake+WH+IAB

Look at the "H" in the fakes mm's, the horizontal bar is positioned in the middle which is not the case on the originals. Of course there is much more wrong with the fakes but focussing on the "H" always helped me

Ah yes. I turned down one of that kind of badge few months ago thinking it was a fake. Guess I lost a good deal

                          Thank you!

That´s a bit strange, Robert. Mine weighs 31,7 grams and is of the exact same kind as yours. Is your scale accurate?
                            Cheers, Frank

Mine is 32.2 grams. It is 3.3mm thick at the wing and 3.6mm thick at the rifle butt. Robert, how thick is your badge?
