Gebirgsjaeger Carpathian Mountain Corps Cap Badge? Anyone seen this before?

    Hi guys

Saw this while surfing around.... it's advertised as being so rare that most people haven't seen one....

Any opinions? Any fantasy item or is it really that hard-to-find?

    Thanks all,
    Khoo

Gebirgsjaeger KARPATHENKORPS Cap Badge Carpathian Mountain Corps EXTREMELY RARE Original!!! This is a TERRIFIC Offering for all collectors interested in the Gebirgsjaeger Special issue Badges. Designed to be worn on the side of the Mountain & Ski Troopers Caps. A Super Rare Find and very Desirable. These are hard to find even if you do not yet have the Cap some day you will and acquire this Special Issue Badge NOW! This was authorized for issue and wear by the Commanding General of the KARPATHENKORPS (THE Carpathian Mountain Corps) for issue to the troops under his command. Awarded for outstanding sustained action and victories in combat actions in the campaign in the Russian Carpathian Mountains. The mounting pins on the back have broken off over the years but could easily be replaced. This Badge is so rare most Collectors have never owned or even seen one.

Yes, but this one has a shipping weight of 1.5 pounds! Can you imagine climbing around in the mountains with an extra pound and a half stuck to your hat? It must be rare, because most of these heavy examples would have been thrown off the mountains!
