    Hello guys,

I would like to ask your opinion about this one:

The badge looks a SHuCo design to me, but the eagle's head reminds me for a Deschler.

The maker eludes me at the moment, but the eagle is not a shuco eagle.

I think the second IAB on this page most closely matches, however it still it doesn't say the maker and I do not have it on file, may even be a repro, but I still say it is not shuco. Sorry it's not much help.

This is definitely not a SHuCo design.

It looks like a nice original from an unknown maker.

If you have a side shot of the hinge I would like to see what it looks like.

              cheers
              Graeme

                    Thanks Janos

I can see what style it is now...

                    cheers

I would agree, no ShuCo. Isn't this a "broken stem"? Obverse design seems a little different, but the reverse hardware looks good and the horizontal lines are typical of this maker...

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I agree, a first patern broken stem with nice frosty finish.
                        Here's mine for comparisson.

Still looks like a nice one, even though it's not a Deschler.

I would say broken stem as well, just can't see that leaf well
