      My opinion,

poor copy of the AGMuK. There are much better repros than this out there.

I agree, not a good one. Detailing, hinge and pin are of, same goes for the mm and the crimping is completely bogus.

Thanks guys. But how do you know that this is fake. Where are wrong places on this CCC?

            Hi Unterkroon,

I'm going to come back on what I wrote before.

I'm just not sure anymore and the fact that I never saw that crimping on another AGMuk isn't sufficient to call it a copie. God knows they made enough variants.

While looking at it again with my own AGMuk to compare it too, hinge, pin and catch are acceptable to me and the backplate show a nice fit which is also a good indicator. Maker mark and details are impossible to judge from these pictures.

To be honest I see more good points than bad points at the moment and since we already accept a dozen variants why not add one more to the list.

              No Phil,

these are definatly copies, I have seen the ones with this crimping type quiet often. They are of a very inferior quality and don´t even come close to the originals. I´m pretty sure that it is one of the ones that bend when you apply a little presure to it.

                Hi Skipy,

Thanks for the info and like I stated above I'm just not sure.

I have my own AGMuk with which I'm quit happy but taken in to account all the variants of this maker floating arround each new variant just makes me nervous and adds to my confusion. But since handling a badge is worth 10 times more than trying to judge one from a pictures I trust your experience

I agree with Skip 100%. My first clasp I ever bought looked just like this one. The crimping was exactly the same. The detailing was good, pin, hinge and catch were all accurate. The only problem was the slight discoloration and it was very easily bent. I bent it slightly and that was give away. I returned it and once I started handling original clasps, the difference was then apparent.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
