    ARMY FLAK BADGE-OPINIONS, Please??

I went to the Joliet Military Show today and picked up a ARMY FLAK BADGE. I had a Flak Badge that I had been operating under the illusion that it was good but was shown the error of my thinking at the SOS Show last year, so I had despaired of picking up another REAL one. The first few pictures show the two of them side-by-side, the fake on the left and the new one on the right and then a few close ups of the new one up close. I got it from a reliable dealer, with a money back guarantee. Opinions anyone?? Please??!!
    Thanx,
    Tim

I am no fan of the WH Wien. Not all agree. I will say this - if you had to chose one to buy, and only one, that would not be the one I would choose.

These are not the best sources to buy militaria imo...

My opinion is that the badge on the left is not original. And I would definately stay away from the dealer in the second link!

I am in aggrement with Marc concering the W.H. Wien. As for the badge on the left it is a well known fake.

For me both of these two badges are postwar made ones and thus not original. This is only my private opinion, but I would not buy any of these two pieces.

I did a search for the earlier discussion about these Army Flaks by W.H. Wien, but have been unable to find it. If someone knows where it is, I would like to peruse it.
                          Thanx,

Looks like the left has a souval catch (fake)

Better pic's of the catch may help but on this point i say souval fake
