    Legion condor panzer badge

    Hello ,
Please, I'd like some help on this one, as I know has been extensively faked, and surely too difficult for me. Please disregard the red circles as not meaning other than areas to be compared with another similar badge, which I do not have the permission to show here.
Many, many thanks for any input.
    Daniele

That's all I got to show...
Hope is enough for a "good or bad".
                Many thanks!

IMO...it has the appearance of a casting, as opposed to a die struck. Im not too keen on it personally for many reasons .(eii cadondia !!) Its time to use the SEARCH bar (above to the right), and sift thru the mire of postings. I know it may be time consuming, but is well worth it. Maybe manga un poco while you look, as it could take an hour or so...

Hello Juoneen, thanks for your fast reply.
Look, really, I know after 9 years membership where the SEARCH button is, and believe me I use it frequently. I already did for this badge too.
But simply this badge, as I am into Fj stuff only, is really too tricky for me.
I have my own opinion already (and it's negative), but I am not 100% sure of myself, as simply I am like a fish out of water here.
Also, to make things more complicated, looks like there are small variants accepted of this rare badge... and on an Item worthy some K's I do not feel self confident enough.
I just hoped in some help from some fellow collectors specifically into these badges "full time", as I am for Fj stuff.
Thanks in advance once more for any help.
                    Daniele

Even if this were a badge worn a lot, i would expect to see finer detailing to the back. BUT...You are right ...this badges variations have never been nailed down finitely yet. I like the way the teeth have the slight U shape as they progress across ...have you seen this in person? if so is it silver? What are your personal feelings you have concluded to date on your opinions you are keeping to yourself?
Maybe that might start the ball rolling to see if someone has a more positive opinion. I understand these were originally silver, and made in spain ...but i cant say ive ever seen one of those first run badges, just the standard accepted types.
Glad you already checked the other postings, as i have also, but can't recall seeing this exact version . Spanish badges IMO don't always have the quality some of the german makers have , so I cannot condemn this one. I would think the skull would have a stronger connection on both sides at the bones to give it more strength if it brushed against a hatch hole or if a soldier wearing it hit the dirt face first ....but as many here know i am wrong more frequently than most . I am also interested to see what you posting uncovers , on this interesting version.
