    IAB - FO - Opinions?

    Dear All

I would like to ask for Your help, I have seen a quite good IAB at Mr Butschek, but since this territory is a "heavy area", I decided to ask first.

I have read through the forum, checked the FO IAB-s, the characteristic...etc (however, the "casting"-study is still foreign a bit...I am not the best in english, so I just try to understand the things here )

For me it doesn't shows any problems, but You still can decide this better:

Unfortunately I can't see the catch so good, this is what me concerns, but from the other side, the zink part, hinge for this maker, eagle looks ok...(actually this "hero-model", from the catch makes me nervous)

My theory was here to focus on one maker and check all the possibilities and signs which are danger factors...but since I am finished it and 'am afraid a bit...want to ask You too.
    I would go for it...

    Many thanks in advance and
    BRgds

        Hi Laszlo,

I too think it is just fine, but better pics when you get her are warranted as there are very good Orth fakes floating around.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

          Dear All

Second chapter for this "mission", finally, the IAB has arrived, could You please recheck this IAB for me? Opinions?
It is the same, with the pictures down there, but these are my pictures

This would be my first IAB, so I am a bit nervous

            Hi Laszlo

It looks good to me, congrats on getting this one...

From your new pictures, I would say this block hinge FO at one time had a frosted silver/white finish. If you look at the base of the hinge in the protected areas, I believe you can see what I am describing.

This type of wash makes for a very nice looking badge but this finish is delicate and did not hold up over time very well.

            Nice one.

            Best Regards, fischer
