    S&L - CLTB & SS Medals

This photo is from the thread below.

    http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=410995

So can S&L now be added to the makers of the CLTB and the SS Medals ?

I think this photo blows some of the old theories out of the water, esp. regarding the SS medals.

Personally, I can't see S&L selling anything else other than their own wares.

If we look hard enough, there's bound to be a Kampfwagenabzeichen in there somewhere.

Also................I think the absence of Oaks etc. to the Iron Cross series places this photo around 1940. Just right for the official re-issue of the CLTB.

Looks like the Oaks are here...................still 1940, I would say.

No war badges later than that year are shown.

There is something above this RK, but I can't tell if it's just the Oakleaves or if it's the Oakleaves and Swords.

It isn't a grand cross on the picture?

              Well spotted.

              Oaks, I think.

Would fit in with a 1940 photo.

It is a Grand Cross below the RK.

Read Jacques' post in the other thread this morning! The CLTB IS in the 1941 S&L catalog for RM 16. It's just not pictured! No one else saw it because we were all looking at just the photos!

                      Good eyes, Jacques!

Right in front of our eyes...........I hope this will change some opinions.

                        So do I!

Everything there was MADE by S&L...............IMHO.
