      A fake IMO. I don't like the hinge, the eagle's legs, the maker's mark...

        I agree, ive never seen a FCL with a hinge like that.

        fake in my opinion.

            Hi

            I agree with the others, that this certainly is not a textbook badge. I have seen hinges that have been soldered when the crimp has failed or been broken, but the hinge used here is not the type that was used with a crimp.

            I also do not like the lack of detail already pointed out in the eagle leg area and the head profile does not match known originals.

            There looks to be pitting on a couple large areas on the reverse which would indicate a casting. Close up pics of these areas would be nice to see, if possible.

            Not one for my collection

              It's vaulted as true FCL's should be. So at least the fakers had a vague idea. Stewy
