Hi Mads,
As far as I'm concerned these MK marked IAB are at best mid war. The construction technique on your badge is identical to all the other examples I have ever seen and as far as I know typical for zinc badges.
Kupal is a mixture of aluminium and copper. The badges or medals produced with Kupal normaly exist out of 2 our 3 layers. On IAB's, GAB's and PAB's this construction technique is easy to recognize when you look at the badge in profile. You wil then see a sandwich construction: 1 layer of copper, aluminium in between and another layer of Kupal when the badges has 3 layers. When you do a search on Kupal or Cupal you will find some more info.
@Sergey, My best guess towards the maker of these MK marked IAB's would be AGMuK. After starting with AGMuk, they also used Muk as abbreviation on their LGAB and Metall & Kunststoff on their Flightclasps. IMO MK just stand for Metall/Kunststoff and the numbers represent the different members of their conglomerate. Like I said my best guess

Hi guys, thank you very much for your comments. I think nevertheless that Mk badges made from zink, but all badges have good, strong finish and therefore looks like tombak. When I bought my badge, first time I think too that it is made from tombak, but later I observe grey metal in places where bronze go out.
So how I understand bronze MK badges have different bronze finishing, But always have one and the same design
