The Anti-Partisan badge is a cast copy. Thanks! Chris

APB of course a copy. The strange wound badge design is ok, we discussed it recently. But what is per se questionable is the existence of pre 1945 hollow silver wound badges. Everybody has to decide that for himself and his collection. The badge itself is ok, the question is when did the silver get on it?

          Thanks guys.
The APB I knew to be a copy, just have to double check sometimes.

Frank- I did post the Wound badge a while back & there was some discussion on it & the pattern itself I believe was determined to be OK.
My dilema now is that I don't know whether to post it on Estand in Medals & Badges as an original or in Bazaar as a fake?

I suppose I'll have to include a disclaimer.
          Regards,
          Chris

            Dear Chris,

No need to sell it in the bazaar. It is an original wound badge design and even more honest dealers sell hollow silver wound badges. Buyer decides if he thinks these existed pre 1945 or if it was silver plated lateron. One cannot prove this one way or the other.

Here are two more (black) badges of that design that were recently discussed in the General Awards Forum (canĀ“t find the thread now). Chris Varveris made that comparison. So it exists with a variety of setups.
            Cheers, Frank

reverses, setup variations. Btw, one of the few (if not the only) design where the clearly visible line in the helmet is ok.
