    can someone help me with this ss badge please

    i have found a ss badge same as this one for sale truw a freind and im not sure about it. here is the site for it ww2army.com it comes up as ww2 german ss shooting badge sniper class 1937 any help would be great as i think this could be a very rare find.

    Hi,

    not as I would expect this badge to be; save your money. It looks like a cast copy - which in fact fits nicely to this (5 minute) website....imo.

      thanks deejay i konw this 1 looks fake but the one i have found is on a chain with other medals and looks aged also has an inscription on the back

        Feel free to show your badge too. In any case these were originally badges with the typical pins and catches; not for wearing on chains.

          i havent bought the chain yet was not sure about it as i can not find much information on most of the medals on it

            i think they were put on the chain for formal wear like what they would have done with the iron cross etc. there is also an olimpic shooting medal on this chain
