Eastern Peoples Badge - Help Needed

Hello guys,

I have been offered this Eastern Peoples Badge at a pretty fair price, that is if it is original. However I know nothing of them but do not the luxury of time to research due to the seller being motivated to sell and needing an answer by today. So if I could I would like to ask the collective voice of the forum to provide some opinions on this piece if it is good or bad.

Ive never seen a numbered one....are the numbers raised or stamped in? It seems to have the remnants of the gold wash....wich oxidizes , and is typical. The case usually has the same medal embossed in gold if its the gold version. Can you show the top of the box? I remember when these were 65.00 all day long, now i imagine maybe triple that, but i am not sure as i havent bought one in 20 years or more. My guess is its alright, anybody disagree? But as i said a numbered one is unusual , almost all i have seen were plain on the back.
A closer shot ofthe mark would also be in order if you have one , if not lets see what the consensus is. Youll have to make the final decision then yourself. Photos really help a lot.

For the reply. Unfortunately they are the only pics available. Concerning the number it is actually a L/13 not a 1. I've been going through some thread but have yet to come acroos this one. Yes, this is a first class hence the gold wash.
