    Opinions on new arrival - IAB

    I received this IAB today, as part of a group of items that were obtained in a barter deal....My time, cataloging a large group of antique firearms, for the 40 plus items in the group.

    In hand, it is much darker gray than the photos show.

    I am posting it for your valued opinions and comments.

    Your IAB is original and looks to be an unmarked L/56 Funke & Bruninghaus, Ludenscheid. It should be a heavy one.

      Hi Bob......

      ......Eric is correct. That's a nice unmarked F&B. One of the unique details about the F&B are the angled lines on the grip of the bayonet. Nice one! You do, however, need to treat that zinc-pest with some vaseline, or olive oil.
