I got this S&H GAB in buntmetall.

I just started a thread on the GCA forum with a S&H nickle silver GAB, the first one I had ever seen.

Or I want to see one more or yours seems to be one as well. Anyhow it can be hard to see the difference.

Can you see some hand filing on the side of the wreath?

Here is left a tombak one, and on the right a nickle silver one.

          Kind regards,

And this is the handfinishing I haven't seen before on tombak badges, does yours features the same thing?

For me it does not have that natural look. Maybe you can take some more photos, in different conditions it might look better

I like the look of Giels

                regards

Hmm...I agree with Graeme, I had the same thought when I first looked at the obverse and the reverse as well...look forward to more pics
                  Cheers, Steve

I also am not a fan of the one in post #1. Giel's is a keeper for sure

I think kappa's badge is polished by hand and cleaned, but original.
                      Kind regards,
                      Giel

                        Hi

                        Hey Giel,

I like the GAB, it looks like one I owned. Actually I think it is the one I owned.

                          Thank you Giel;
I think so; the Gab has been cleaned for sure and maybe polished; but this is an original S&H.
