          Hello Chris,

          as mentioned from the posters before I also have severe doubt on the originality of this badge.

          Let me point out two signs:

          - the number box with the "50" is a bit larger than on the original ones...this is a clear sign of a copy.

          - the other thing is: the rivets which hold the tank to the wreath penetrate the tank and are visible on the obverse. If this is the case, then the rivet of the number box on the revers should not be visible on originals.....but can be seen on this one.

                I agree the one at auction is a fake, the other one posted is an original.
