What do you think about this one? Pictures are not good, but they are all I have got.
    Thanks,

Hi Jorne, some of the detail on the obverse looks a bit soft, especially around the skull-oak leaves, otherwise it looks ok, but as you say the picture isn't that great...the cutouts on the reverse look alright as does the finish and the reverse hardware...so all in all it seems like an original 'massiv' type badge from these pics IMHO...do you have dimensions and weight so we can check them?

I don't like the look of it, however, your pictures are really bad. A badge like this needs clear, close-up pictures, not blurry far away images.

            Me again

Why are these accepted as 1) Period 2) Juncker?

What strikes me is that the usual productionrelated stripes seen on Juncker hinges PAB's/BKA's isn't present on these?

            Cheers Thomas

I have received some more images from the seller, but I don't think they will do any good.

Jorne, I agree with Jeff here and the images are still not of a really good, clear quality...you need some close-up shots to assess the crispness of the detail....as I mention below the detail appears quite soft especially around the skull area, so close up shots of the badge are the only chance to be more certain (along with dimensions & weight as a cross check). It could well be a good badge (the reverse looks ok to my eye) but you still need better pics of the obverse. Because these badges are heavily reproduced and so few awarded compared to some of the other badges it's always better to err on the side of caution IMO.
                  Cheers, Steve

                    Hi Steve

Are there any proof that these were actually awarded or did you mean produced?

                    Cheers Thomas

Fair question Thomas. When I wrote the word 'awarded' I had in mind the BKA on the whole...so in this instance substituting the word produced may fit better as you say mate.

What is your opinion of the badge? I saw a point you made recently regarding stripes on the hinges of the badges being tool-related (or specific) on the GCA and took your comment that there was more than one tool to mean that the lack of stripes was not necessarly a sign that it was reproduction?
                      Cheers, Steve

I dont like the badge, cutouts between a snakes are totaly diferent, and here is also traces from chemical againg, like droplets of acid...

That badge looks... strange?... to me. I don´t like it. IMO not a wartime produced badge.
