Im trying to read up more about the anti partisan badge. Are there any good books published today that focuses on the APB and its known variants?

I believe it is only in German at this time.

Thank you Don! BKA's can be a real mine field!

Patzwalls book, with all due respect, has a lot of errors. The antipartisan badges (halfhollow types) are not a minefield. Were talking about two dies as opposed to a zillon PAB's.

                Cheers Thomas

Not sure about Patzwall's book. he produced several of these on various awards but im not certain how accurate they are as its in German and i never got to buy them. Im also looking for Patzwall's TK HR book.

Yes, I agree...I also have the Patzwall, the Michaelis and a number of others but all have their drawbacks...at present there is no real equivalent of some other definitive works such as those mentioned in the thread below regarding the Bandenkampfabzeichen...an opportunity exists for one of the authors to fill this gap in the literature IMHO.

Authors, I'd love to see a great work on this subject as I have been disappointed that such a magnificent badge has been left un-examined in detail for so long...relatively speaking. If I am wrong hereI would love somebody to correct me and point me in the right direction!
                    Cheers, Steve

Perhaps, but it is the only one out there. In the end, everyone has to make up thier own mind in what they believe is real.

                          Hi Don,

For sure isn't and ofcourse people are entitled to belliewe what they want. Luckily we don't have to turn to beliefs when it concearns the halfhollows anymore.

                          Cheers

                          Thomas
