            Yepp,

these are the pics of the piece I questioned and not my award. I still think that this one looks odd. Has anybody ever seen a Mayer with this lack of detail on the back? I even looked that one up in Frank´s book and I still think the back looks like one of the Staegemeir line.

            Whatever.

its 100% Original and a real Buntmetall peace! If you would clean it, that I will not do you would see the details on the reserve you are talking about.

It is my award and I just had a question about the price, now its for sell for 130€ + shipping on an other place.

Daniel, sry you are absolultly false, please stop making my badge bad !!!

first price was 150€ - but I think it was too high

                      Hi guys,

I see the lack of detailing on the reverse that Daniel mentions, but on the other hand, the badge in question doesn't look like a Staegemeir fake IMO. We have seen different levels of "filled in reverse" on other makers such as Karneth, so I guess it is possible with others.

Closeup angled shots of the hinge and catch would be helpful here, as well as some dimensions.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I´m sorry but this place is called Wehrmacht Awards Forum, if you post this badge here just for advertising your auction on militaria321, this is not my fault. I saw your pictures and voiced my opinion on this forum. I did not know this was your badge, and I did not know you simply put this one up for more potential buyers. If my comment lead another member to report your badge to the militaria321 staff, I´m terribly sorry for this, but I have not the feeling that it is my fault your badge got pulled.

                        Whatever, lesson learned.

I see the auction was pulled, which gab are we looking at now?
                          Kind regards,

The badge was most likely polished by hand, and then patinated again during the years. I would have no problems with this badge. Some close ups and extra pictures in different light would be interesting to see.
                              Kind regards,
                              Giel
