Looks like a fake PAB to me. The angle between the panzer turret and the left side of the wreath give it away.

        Dear Scott,

Yes, it is a PAB many of us consider to be a fake.

          Hi Scott,

I know a little off subject, but I would really like to see the CCCib if you get a chance to pic it and post it.

          Thanks in advance.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

            Hi Scott,

I agree with Yuri and Frank these PAB's are definitely fakes based upon the "Porsche PAB".

Since they seem to come in so many different variants and since the detailing is so convincing at first I had a hard time believing that they were fakes. A couple of weeks ago Warren send me his badge of this type to examine it. When I openend the package I really didn't know what to think of it but after comparing it to the originals it became very clear that their is a lot more wrong with these badges than the very obvious "cut in wreath" and non cut out tank that they all share.

Im not going to bother you guys with summing up the many defaults of these badge also depending on the reverse set-up used but besides the very obvious faults that are immediately visible there is another way of recognizing them.

For all variants focus on the grass area just above the wreath band. You will notice that 2 very little balls of metall are situated in the grass. A verry unique feature not to be encountered on the originals.

Concerning your badge and the convolute it was found in I'll send you a PM.

I'll just post some more pictures of the same fake that seems to pop up every where and is sold by most big dealers.
