    Stone-cold-liquid-nitrogen-mint

I always thought the term "stone-cold-mint" was rather used-car salesmanish.

        "Used-car salesmanish"? Not this time!

That's a beauty! Nicely burnished swaz and wreath ribbon.

Thanks Larry!! The non-burnished portions of the wreath have a "sand-blasted" sparkly look to them.

                  Hi Yuri,

                  Nice one, congrats.

Just to compare it to, here is my Schwerin HSFin a slightly more worn conditon. Same polished swas and wreath ribon and very nice to see, probably the same painter with a not so steady hand. On mine he also touched the lower part of the swas with the dark gray paint of the cruiser. Mine still has all the windows clearly visible.

I must admit that the High Seas Fleet badge is my favorite of all other KM badges. I just am blown away by the details of the Bismarck on the obverse.

                              Hi Yuri,

That's one of the nicest examples I've seen - congratulations!

HOWEVER - if the obverse details are of the Bismarck then it is a fantasy item

                              Regards
                              Mike K
