(PS: No Feix, rather an unknown maker of the Gablonz network, but very nice...)

          Hi Eduard,

I agree, a very nice "small font" AGMuK clasp in great condition.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Interesting color to the obverse. I've never seen this orange/goldish color, but maybe it's the lighting.

                    Hi Eduard,

Your PM about this being made by JFS is a decent guess, but not correct in my opinion. JFS had their own unique obverse design and they marked their clasps. They are also made around the same timeframe as these AGMuKs, so I don't think these progressed from anything JFS made, but rather they simply shared a similar obverse design.

JFS was also located in the Gablonz area and they most likely shared the same artist that designed the CCC for the AGMuK conglomorate. The revese hardware setup is also similar to JFS, but I think a more likely candidate for one of these AGMuK makers would be Rudolf Karneth, RSS, Adolf Scholze, etc.

As to Chad's comment about the color, It hink this has a lot to do with the lighting. The reverse looks more appropriate for the bronze color, so I don't know why the pics would show such a variation.

                    Tom

Yea, I noticed the back color looked normal, so yes, must be the lighting of the obverse

                        Hi friends

In the photos are shown as an orange variation, because my scanner is old !!!!.
In my hand has a bronze color very nice.(like back color)

Tom , thanks again for your expert explanation.

I thought it could be a JFS models because I've looked at this maker and there are, many details appear similars , like the head of the eagle, the eye size of the bayonet , bigger than the others models, etc

                        Best regards

                        Eduard
