    Anti partisan

I've been searching the threads with no luck. Can someone explain why the "twist" in the hilt/sword is to the left on some bandenkampfabzeichen and to the right on others. Does that indicate that a mold was made from an original/mirror image? Thanks

Junckers twist to the left as you look at them? and Agmuk twist to the right?
Forget that it is a BKA and look at this question with any common badge.

The twist occurs as the metal cools. The thinner metal cools faster than the thicker and as it cools, it shrinks. This causes the twist.

Thanks Don , these badges the most artistic of the war badges,, IMO that is. and one can see that the rear pins have the same tell tale marks on them.

They sure do. Nice to see some without a doubt originals for a change.
Don't believe everything you read on the internet, that's how WWI got started.
