    Zinc Wurster IAB

    Hi Guys

Although not in the best condition, this is the first time I have managed to find a zinc Wurster IAB.

Only small areas of the bronze finish are left and the head looks worn. Interesting to see the block hinge and ? catch soldered directly to the badge, the same set up that they use on their buntmetal badges.

When I get time I will see if I can remove the white areas and give it the vasoline treatment.

Feel free to post any other zincers.

    cheers
    Graeme

            Hi Graeme,

            a nice catch my friend!
As you know these Wurster zincers do not grow on trees.

Mine is posted here since before and due to forum restrictions i can´t repost them here even if they are renamed. You´ll find it at posting 16 and 17.

                      Hi Graeme,

Very nice and rare Wurster! Even in this condition I wouldn't have hesitated to get this one either, I have only seen a handful of these zinkers over the years! Very nice catch and I think some vaseline will do wonders for her.

                      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Tom, when I get round to treating the badge I will post it again

Hans, yours is a dream badge, was unaware of those restrictions you mentioned. Seems crazy

                        cheers
