    FLL Pab question

Hi Gents, This is my first post so i apologise in advance for any etiquete faux pas. I have just purchased a lovely FLL pab in bronze the rear is marked with the correct FLL makers mark however there is no 42 visible beneath it. The soldering does not cover where the mark would be. I could not find an example of this badge with just FLL mark and no 42 in the new panzer book however I am satisfied with all other aspects of the badge. My question is, are these badges known with just the makers mark and no 42 or should I speak further with the dealer from whom I purchased it.

    Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to the WAF Robin, if possible could you post some pictures of the badge, it's hard to give an answer without seeing it.
or email the pics to me and I'll post them for you.

I have seen FLL marked PAB's without the numbers 43 (not 42 ) ...looks like the area where the numbers were supposed to be have been scooped out ! You're badge is probably OK but some pictures would be helpfull.
