    Solid Condor tank badge

    Hi,
    Here is a 1st type 47x58mm Portuguese made Condor badge.Its lost its pin,however the only photos of 1st types Ive seen havent even had there hooks or hinges.Comments welcome.

                      The badge that started this thread is not a Portuguese model. It is a copy of the first official issue.

                          No, I know what period originals look like but I didn't know what he was talking about Portuguese for....I was confused on that. Either way, nice badge and thanks for posting.

                            Hi Don,
                            You show an official one.But was it not the case that Spain and Portugal also made these badges?
                            The Potugese bit that I refered to came from Formans book,where the two first types he shows are both described as Portugese.
                            Im thinking of cleaning mine up by putting it in a chemical bath.Although it doesnt look too bad in the pics,in fact its really grimey,especially the solder.
