    Sorry for the delay-been waiting for sunny torbay to live up to its name so I could take some pictures.
    Here are the pics of both badges. Both as already mentioned have that deep flaw on the underside of the rifle.

    First is the badge with the wrong rear set up.This is the one confrimed as bad that I think was supposed to be bronze.Weight 28.6 grms

                        both eagles together.Very different beaks!

                        I believe the first is a cast copy but it is interesting that the flaw has been reproduced. The question is, is the silver ok?

                        If nothing else, this might serve as helpfull reference material
