    and the reverse, I hope to have this in my ownership by early next week so I will post better photos.

      It indeed looks good, but is that a copper catch?? If it indeed is, I suppose this would be a replacement. Pics are a bit small, so I'm looking forwards to better scans.

        The catch is definately odd but it could and probably is replaced. I would like to see better photos of the number box and the reverse witht he pin down.

            thanks for your comments.
            the catch has been repaired at one time and is priced down accordingly at £695 (UK Pounds).
            The seller say's it's been professionally done so I don't think it will detract to much from what looks to be a nice badge.
            Amazing what you Guy's can see in such small photos.
