It is with great sadness that I must unmask our own Tom Durante as the Hero. He has been working with Carsten Staegemeir to make high-end fakes and sell them as real. Carsten is the distributor, but Tom makes them in his HOME! He invited me over this weekend and tried to get me to join him. He said with everyone respecting “experts” like us we would make big bucks. Plus we could soak up the real badges in the process. He has Staegemeir sell the crappy fakes so no one catches wind that Tom is making the nearly perfect ones. He just sold a silver Juncker CCC on e-stand for $1500 – and he showed me the die he made it with!

I snapped a pic of one of his dies when he was out of the room and I post it below as evidence. It is a hard thing to turn a friend in, but he is no friend any more. Never really was I guess. At a MINIMUM the mods need to banish his a$$.
