    Some badges, etc...

And here are some more of the lot of smalls I just acquired from a man whose dad was with the US Army late in WWII in the capacity of a postal clerk...Got these along w/ the SS plate and buckles, etc. I've shown in the other forums. The bronze colored day badge is for a Farmers Day in Schwaben in 1933 and is one I've not seen before. It still actually has the manufacturers label adhered to its back, even after all these years! The EK is in nice shape and is un-marked. The IAB is hollow backed w/ nice details and also unmarked. The silver wound badge is back-marked "30".

Nice.."Iraq eagle on a pogo stick" indeed. It's a day badge for the "GauTag Karlsruhe, 16-18 April 1937. Here's your close up.

nice item that is a new one on me but I never really collect these, I think because there were too many of them.

Sure, when it comes to day badges, I don't think any of us could live long enough to effectively collect all of them! The brown one w/ the shield shape is another odd-ball I've not seen before. It's for a Schwaebischer BauernTag (Farmers day) in 1933 in the town of Mindelheim (Bavaria). It's even still got the manufacturers tag adhered to the back. I also haven't seen another of these. As for the Karlsruhe one you so effectively described, there's actually one for sale right now on the Ruptured Duck website if you'd like to check it out. M.

I managed to find what the clear plastic one is.

Seems it was a token given out when you made a donation to the winter relief fund.
