Very interesting Flak...I would like to see some better clearer photos of the 88. I looks like it could be a good Vienna Design but I would still like to see better photos because the 88 detail looks a little soft.
The more and more I look at this badge the less I like it. Looking at it again...the pin looks terrible. I would wait for Marc to give his opinions on this one.
Hi Carlos,i am not big expert on this but i think the wing of the eagle should be connected to the gun.

eddie
Not all of them touched the gun...Vienna Design had one version (that I know of) that didnt touch if I am not mistaken. As well as a few other makers...
The details on the badge are very good my camera doesn't take good pics, later today i'll take better pics outdoors and post. the pin looks better in real ife than the pics.
Later today i will take better pics the construction on the badge is very good it does not bend, although it has a small dent in the wreath at the bottom, it has a goldish/bronze tone to it and ther are no casting marks anywhere on the badge and the back is flat. Some of the original finish is still around the hinge and on the front of the badge.
Thnaks for any further info especially weight and measurements. As I say in my book on all things flak badge, there is less known on army flak than luft. That said, this one is not what I would call an "official" maker I am familiar with. That's all I am saying. Could very well be good and we are always learning...there are 10 army flak makers I am aware of. I have a few more unknowns in my book I list as possible.
Marc
I agree with Marc on this one...this is not a maker or variant that I am familiar with. I have a similar (kinda) Flak in my files that this matches, somewhat. I have it in my files as a Vienna Design...as I will not pay for a membership here I will have to send the photos to someone to post for me.
Also, better photos of the gun will for sure help in the final verdict on this flak.
