Thanks for your comment "kray". Can you...or someone else...perhaps hazard a guess on who might have manufactured badge # 3?

            Thanks,
            John

Never seen one like that before, strange eagle with a beak like a parrot, looks oke though.

                Hello

Badge #3 is an unknown maker. It's referred to as a "Broken Stem" variant.

                Regards, fischer

Fischer is absolute right here, this is a unknown maker and know as the broken stem variant, type 1# IMO but with a kind of productionfault on its head.
It looks like the die was moved during fabrication.

Hi guys, are you sure that this is a 'broken stem' badge ?, it looks totally different from the ones I've seen, and where is the broken stem ?, here is mine to compare and the broken stem is clearly vicible at the left second leaf, eagle is also different, is this a second type ?

                    regards Den.

                        Hi Den
yes, yours is the second type
also a funny thing, not all ISA's referred to the broken stems does have the actual "broken stem"
the broken stem is just a dieflaw

                          Hello

These examples to date are unknown maker IAB's.

They have been named "Broken Stem" by collectors to help identify them by a name.

As Kray stated, some examples are referred to as Broken Stem that do not actually have the flaw.

I believe there are three different variants that have been labeled as "Broken Stem" IAB's.

                          Best Regards, fischer

Amazing feedback, for which I thank you guys very much. I did not realize that I had such an interesting variant of this IAB.

                            Best regards,

                            John
