I really don't like the finish. I've never seen finish like this on original hollow-back PABs. It's also too thick looking for a stamped out badge.

Hi Rolf,

I agree with Yuri and not only because of the finish. Based upon everything I think I know about PAB's this design was never used on original hollow PAB's but is only to be encountered on massive badges by Wernstein, AWS, EWE, RS, RRS and Fo.

There actually is a known type fake that uses this design in hollow printed form and I assume the badge in question belongs into the evolution line of that fake, now sporting a "frosty" finish. Ugly.
