Infant assault badge real or fake???

Hi everone i am new to this site. Hope everone has a happy new year
So here is my question i have an Infant assault badge unfinished and i want to know if it is real or not. I know there is unfinished that made it out of the factor.

My badge to be a gold one and has some damage to the badge it missing some metal in two places and that why i think it was not used. It look to be a stamping error!!!!! Also all the measurement are all in spects

Hello,

I would say this badge is not original. Copy of a Vienna design. Finish (?) does not look correct. Is the metal that color, or does it have a finish? Soft details on the front, rifle looks odd with lack of detail.

hi, wecome to the forum! bad news on the badge though, its a copy, recently made by the look of it! they only made these in bronze and silver, this one looks gold!!
